Writer/Director John Putch has teamed with local icon Ed Gotwalt (Mister Ed) to premiere the film at the Majestic Theatre in Gettysburg September 27th 2008 at 8PM.


Route 30’s three interconnecting stories take place along the Lincoln Highway from Chambersburg to Gettysburg.  Notable shooting locations included the Jennie Wade house, Evergreen Cemetery and Totem Pole Playhouse.  Immediately following the screening, attending film makers and cast will join Putch for a Q&A session.


Admission for the event will be priced at $16 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the non-profit Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor and Totem Pole Playhouse, Inc.  Tickets will be available begining in May through Totem Pole Playhouse, Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and The Majestic Theatre box office as well as online.


Aside from local talent Wil Love, Carl Schurr, Mister Ed and Alicia Fusting, the cast includes:  Curtis Armstrong, Dana Delany, Robert Romanus, Lee Wilkof, Christine Elise McCarthy, Kevin Rahm, David DeLuise, David Cowgill, Nathalie Boltt and others.
